Abi Stubbings

A frequent attender at the Harris Bazaars, Abi Stubbings is a talented artist who sells a variety of hand painted items including picture frames, boards and trays. She also makes tweed animals and works with several different materials to create bags, draught excluders, cats and other great gifts.

 

  Where do you get your ideas from?
I share ideas with other crafters and get them from magazines, shops, fashion, what people are wearing….I find inspiration around me.

Where do you source your materials?
A lot of it is found, donated or reclaimed – I use whatever I can find and the material often dictates the final product.

How long have you been producing your own crafts?
 My whole life; when I was nine, I made a mouse from my favourite old nightie!
